For collectors and history buffs, our auction house publishes the second edition of the sale devoted to the exceptional library of the late Alex CARMES, a brilliant scholar of military affairs, the history of nations and military costume. Author of Die Uniformierung der k.k. Armee 1792-1815 and numerous articles in specialist journals, he collected a large number of plate books and scholarly writings from his early youth.
This second sale will feature first editions, collectors' books and other works worthy of inclusion in a military library.
