The "LUNAR ORBITER" mission was designed to make a detailed mapping of the lunar surface and to locate the preferred landing sites for future APOLLO missions. The space probes "LUNAR ORBITER" carried out thanks to a very sophisticated photographic material of the photographs which were developed in lunar orbit then, scanned and sent in the form of analogical signals on Earth. These signals were then decoded to give rise to superb lunar photographic landscapes. All of them have the remarkable particularity to be realized at the zenith of their observation surface. 50,7 x 41 cm with margins.
